Lanterman Labs ("we", "us", or "our") builds apps, websites, and creative projects, including PantrySink, TellEllie, and related Lanterman Labs products. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Depending on the product you use, we may collect:
- Account information, such as your email address or authentication identifier.
- Content you create or save in our apps, such as pantry items, recipes, shopping lists, voice notes, transcripts, reminders, preferences, and other app data.
- Subscription and entitlement information needed to unlock paid features. Payments are processed by Apple and subscription status may be managed through RevenueCat.
- Support messages you send to us.
- Basic technical information, such as crash reports, diagnostics, app version, device type, and usage events used to keep the apps working and improve them.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide and improve our products, sync your data, personalize app features, provide customer support, manage subscriptions, protect against abuse, debug issues, and comply with applicable requirements.
AI Features
Some Lanterman Labs apps use AI services to generate or process content. When you use those features, relevant prompts, notes, pantry data, recipes, or other content may be sent to AI providers only as needed to provide the requested feature.
Third-Party Services
We may use service providers such as Apple, RevenueCat, Supabase, Cloudflare, and AI providers such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Anthropic. These providers process information on our behalf or as needed to provide payments, hosting, authentication, storage, AI processing, analytics, and diagnostics.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising tracking.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep account and app data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain backups. Where an app offers account deletion, you can request deletion from inside the app. You may also contact us to request help deleting your data.
Children
Our general-purpose apps are not directed to children under 13 unless a product specifically states otherwise. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate consent, contact us and we will review the request.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice when appropriate.
